Firenze Rocks is the 'responsible festival' that seeks to promote environmental sustainability reducing harmful emissions. The collaboration between Ridemovi and one one of the most important festivals in Europe, further confirmed how our bike sharing system can help obtaining sustainable mobility to cities.
For the Festival, which saw singers as Ed Sheeran and Eddie Vedder playing for thousands of fans, Ridemovi provided bikes in strategic locations in Florence, to allow people arriving by car and public transport to reach the Visarno Arena venue. Moreover the staff of Firenze Rocks was able to move with Ridemovi bicycles in the large area where the concerts were held.
Ridemovi revolutionized mobility in the ‘SEAT Smart City’. Ridemovi has been rolling in over 100 bikes at the Martorell factory, which gradually became a small benchmark smart city. The goal was to make it easy for workers to get around the complex in a more efficient and sustainable way.
Thanks to the partnership between Seat and Ridemovi more than 2000 workers have been cycling to cover short distances within the factory. Since its implementation at SEATBike Smart City, workers cycled for over 60.000 trips, reaching such a distance as completing a journey around the globe and saved 3700 hours by travelling on a Ridemovi bike.
Ridemovi and Salvatore Ferragamo, historic avant-garde luxury brand, joined hands for a more sustainable future: Ferragamo Museum in Florence offered a 50% discount on the entrance fee for the Sustainable Thinking exhibition to Ridemovi pass holders.
The commitment to environmental responsibility and recycling is a common theme shared by the two companies. Ridemovi is committed to recycle or reuse parts of bikes that are no longer operational; the exhibition that houses the Ferragamo Museum was set up with biodegradable mannequins and the catalogue and shirts produced with recycled materials.
Thousands of volunteers from all over the world cycled with our Ridemovi bikes across the area of the Red Cross camp in Solferino, Italy, during the centenary celebrations of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC).
