Terms & Conditions - Group Ride
- Definition and Purpose of the Service
The "Group Ride" allows the Account holder to unlock multiple Ridemovi Vehicles in the same trip via a single Account. This functionality is designed to facilitate group travel, allowing the user to unlock and manage up to a maximum of vehicles permitted by the city in which the Service is used. This is provided for in paragraph 3 below.
- Type of Vehicles The "Group Ride" can only be done with Ridemovi Vehicles of a similar type. (for example, only ebikes or only electric scooters).
- Number of Participants The maximum number of Ridemovi Vehicles that can be unlocked during a "Group Ride" is set by the rules of the city where the trip is taking place. These rules will be visible within the Application.
- Limitations on Use and Access to the Group RideYou are responsible for your guests, including verifying that they are the minimum age required to use the service, according to Ridemovi's Terms and Conditions. You must have a verified Account and a valid payment method. The service will only be available in some cities and will be indicated by the presence of the button to activate the "Group Ride" within the Application.
- Responsibilities of the Primary User The Account holder of the "Group Ride" function, assumes full responsibility for all Ridemovi Vehicles and their respective users (guests) unlocked during the "Group Ride”. All travel-related costs (including guest costs), any penalties or fines, will be charged directly to the primary user's account. The user who holds the Account with which the "Group Ride" function is used, assumes responsibility, also on behalf of his guests, for full compliance with the Ridemovi Terms and Conditions.
- Insurance and Civil LiabilityIf there are any claims or accidents, the Account holder of the "Group Ride" function is responsible for his trip and that of his guests. If the Account holder of the "Group Ride" function has activated insurance, this will only cover him and not the other participants.
- Prohibition of Improper UseThe Account holder of the "Group Ride" function, and his guests, cannot use the Ridemovi Vehicles for illegal activities or in violation of traffic regulations. Irresponsible behavior that causes damage to vehicles, third parties or property will be subject to sanctions according to the Ridemovi Terms and Conditions.
- Unlock Mode
Once the Ridemovi Vehicle of the Account holder of the "Group Ride" function, has been unlocked, additional Ridemovi Vehicles can be added to the "Group Ride" by scanning the QR code of the Ridemovi Vehicle or by manually entering it of the code. If an attempt is made to unlock a Ridemovi Vehicle that is not permitted for the "Group Ride", the system will generate an error and prevent it from being unlocked.
- Proximity and Route of Travel All Ridemovi Vehicles within the "Group Ride" must travel in proximity to each other. The Account holder of the "Group Ride" function, and the guests must follow the same route, and it is not permitted to deviate separately with different vehicles.
- Temporary Parking and Ride Closing The Account holder of the "Group Ride" function, can make temporary parking for each Ridemovi Vehicle and individually end the journey of each vehicle according to the standard flow and local rules established in the Ridemovi Terms and Conditions. Only at the end of the ride of all Ridemovi Vehicles, the "Group Ride" function will be officially closed, and the related costs will be calculated.
- Costs and Charges
The costs for the "Group Ride" will be charged to the Account holder of the "Group Ride" function and will include the individual costs for each Ridemovi Vehicle unlocked and used. Upon completion of all rides, the total cost will be calculated and displayed in the "My Rides" section of the Application. Rides costs will follow the rules indicated on the Application, in addition to the rules relating to the Terms and Conditions of the RideMovi Standard service.
- Interruptions or Malfunctions of the Service RideMovi is not responsible for any damages resulting from malfunctions, such as the inability to unlock a Ridemovi Vehicle or an interruption of service. Users can still report problems through the dedicated section or by contacting customer service.
- Changes to the Group Ride Service
Ridemovi reserves the right to modify, suspend or discontinue the functionality of the "Group Ride" at any time, upon prior notice to users.
- Compliance with Local Laws
The use of the "Group Ride" must comply with current road and local regulations, including any parking restrictions, prohibitions on driving in certain areas or specific safety rules for the Ridemovi Vehicles used.
- Rental Times and Deadlines
The maximum duration for multiple rentals follows the constraints established in the RideMovi Terms and Conditions. Any extra charges will be applied in case the permitted time limits are exceeded.
- Use of Passes and Promotions
Promotions valid for the "Group Ride" include: Time Pass (deduction of available minutes) and Coupon (deduction of the value of the coupon on a ride).
- Complaints and Reports
The Account holder of the "Group Ride" function will be able to view the “Group Ride” report at “My Trips” section, where he/she will have the possibility to make complaints or report faults.
